Kirsten received her Masters Degree from Wake Forest University with a focus on mental health counseling and marriage and family therapy. She seeks to establish positive patterns and works with a holistic approach, aiming for over all wellbeing. Kirsten uses strength based counseling and works with solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. The power of a safe space to explore thoughts and emotions resulting in personal insight can provide a lasting healing for individuals, couples and families.
Kirsten works with children, adolescents, and adults. She has experience with grief, anxiety, depression, transitions, trauma and behavioral issues. Furthermore, Kirsten speaks Spanish fluently and can work with bilingual families, Spanish speaking parents, cross-cultural couples and she has experience working with Third-Culture-Kids or multi-cultural families.
