Dennis is a bilingual therapist (English, Spanish, and working on adding Italian and French!) who holds an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and was originally trained abroad as a Psychologist. He is a dedicated professional who values effective communication, collaboration and research. He is experienced in working with children, adolescents and adults, and skilled in working with culturally diverse populations of all demographics in different countries and in a variety of settings. Dennis describes himself as an insatiable learner with an understanding of reality as dialectic, systemic and contextual. Dennis uses an integrative approach in how he practices psychotherapy. He applies a developmental lens based on cultural-historical psychology and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) principles. Dennis aims to expand self-awareness and stimulate critical thinking while accompanying his clients through their necessary evolution towards new habits, connection and adaptation.
