Dennis Estrada, MS, RMHCI
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Dennis is a bilingual English-Spanish therapist (working on adding Italian and French!) who holds an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Originally trained as a psychologist abroad, he offers a unique cosmopolitan perspective reflective of his diverse professional experience. 

 

Always curious, Dennis enjoys growing and learning with his clients, and considers the therapeutic relationship a special space to model flexibility, collaboration, and unconditional positive regard. 

 

His typical clients are late adolescents and young adults struggling with family dynamic, relationships, women’s issues, control, fear based and avoidant behaviors, emotional dysregulation, phase of life transitions, identity, acculturation, and multicultural issues. 

 

Dennis uses a developmental approach based on socio-cultural and cognitive behavioral principles. His aim is to expand awareness and stimulate dialectical thinking while accompanying his clients through their necessary evolution towards homeostasis, connection, and adaptation.
