Dana is Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who specializes in the mental health and behavioral development of individuals spanning from early childhood through adulthood. Her primary focus lies in establishing strong rapport with her clients to nurture a therapeutic relationship that promotes emotional well-being. Particularly skilled in working with children and adolescents, Dana creates a welcoming space where clients feel empowered to explore their feelings and address concerns.

 

Passionate about the development of emotional intelligence in young people, Dana employs a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance their understanding of the interplay between emotions and behavior. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

 

As a certified practitioner in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dana is uniquely qualified to help young clients navigate the complexities of traumatic experiences. Her holistic approach to mental health care ensures that individuals across age groups receive the tailored support and guidance they need for their emotional and behavioral well-being.

 

During her leisure time, Dana enjoys cooking and baking, exploring new destinations with her husband, and experiencing the excitement of live sporting events.
